about

Sudden but absolutely inevitable decision that of Ferdinando and Enzo to give birth to a face-to-face meeting on the ground of the free improvisation after attending each other for decades in various musical projects. Different trails, different ambitions, identical interest in boundless and timeless music (from English virginalists to free music and from gagaku to dodecaphony passing through the Canterbury rock). Same idea about jazz as a possible melting point among the thousands of things still and always worth listening to. Improvised music, therefore, completely free or sometimes growing from very basic clues, capable of bringing out instantaneous sound structures in the thread of a continuous dialogue without any stylistic concerns.

…always seasoned with that theatrical, ironic, humoristic approach which is the natural way Rocco runs his idea of jazz.”
